Accelerated Skills Training Application

Robotics & Semiconductor Technicians perform automated machine setup and adjustment, monitor and analyze system operations, and carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. With specialized training in semiconductor technology, they also learn to operate and maintain cleanroom fabrication equipment used in the production of microchips and wafers.

Program Overview & Certifications Earned

Our Accelerated Skills Training (AST) programs are designed to help students gain industry-recognized certifications and job-ready skills in a matter of weeks. This streamlined approach is ideal for individuals looking to quickly transition into a new field or advance their career in a short timeframe.

The Robotics & Semiconductor Technician program combines hands-on training in robotic automation and cleanroom semiconductor processes. Students begin by learning to operate and integrate robotic systems for various manufacturing tasks, then advance to a specialized track that simulates semiconductor fabrication in a controlled environment. The program emphasizes real-world applications in both traditional and high-tech cleanroom settings.

Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to earn:

  • Certified Industry 4.0 Semiconductor Operations Specialist (SACA)
  • Certified Industry 4.0 Basic Operations Associate (SACA)
  • Certified Industry 4.0 Advanced Operations Associate (SACA)
  • Certified Industry 4.0 Robot System Associate (SACA)
  • Certified Industry 4.0 Total Productive Maintenance (SACA)
  • ROOTS® CIP Certification (Cobot Integration and Processing)
  • ROOTS® SAT Certification (Semiconductor Automation Technician)
  • UR e-Series Core Track
  • UR e-Series Pro Track
  • UR e-Series Application Track
  • OSHA 10 General Industry
  • May also be eligible for college credits toward an AS Degree in Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Technology

Enrollment Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Proof of High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Read, Write and Comprehend English
  • Applicants may be subject to additional enrollment requirements
