This streamlined approach is ideal for individuals looking to quickly transition into a new field or advance their career in a short timeframe.
The Automated Production Specialist (CNC) program begins with the fundamentals of turning and milling, then progresses into advanced simulation and hands-on machine operation. Students learn G and M code programming, how to set up and run CNC and manual machines, and how to read blueprints and inspect parts—all within a lab setting that mirrors real-world production environments.

Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to earn:
- CNC Milling – Programming, Setup, and Operations (NIMS)
- CNC Lathe – Programming, Setup, and Operations (NIMS)
- Job Planning, Benchwork, & Layout (NIMS)

- CNC Mill Operations (NIMS)
- CNC Lathe Operations (NIMS)
- OSHA 10 General Industry
- May also be eligible for college credits toward an AS Degree in Supervision & Management for Industry
Enrollment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age by time of course completion
- Must read and speak conversational English
