This streamlined approach is ideal for individuals looking to quickly transition into a new field or advance their career in a short timeframe.
The Valencia College and Mechanical One Residential / Commercial HVAC Technician program provides hands-on training using advanced industry technology. Instruction takes place in a well-equipped classroom and lab environment that simulates real-world HVAC/R scenarios. Students develop core technical skills and safety practices while working with the tools, systems, and processes found in residential and commercial settings.
* Includes approximately 150 hours of online content within the total contact hours
Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to earn:
- NCCER Core Construction
- NCCER Site Safety
- NCCER HVAC/R Level 1
- NCCER AC/Refrigeration Level 1
- EPA 608
- Fall Protection Certification
- Rigging/Signal Person
- OSHA 10
- May also be eligible for college credits toward an AS Degree in Energy Management & Controls Technology
Enrollment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Proof of High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Read, Write, and Comprehend English
