The Robotics Technician program provides a hands-on learning experience where students gain a foundation in robotic systems, automation, and system integration. Training includes programming robotic arms, testing devices for autonomous control, and combining those devices into an Integrated Learning Factory that mirrors real-world automation environments.
Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to earn:
- Certified Industry 4.0 Semiconductor Operations Specialist (SACA)
- Certified Industry 4.0 Basic Operations Associate (SACA)
- Certified Industry 4.0 Advanced Operations Associate (SACA)
- Certified Industry 4.0 Robot System Associate (SACA)
- Certified Industry 4.0 Total Productive Maintenance (SACA)
- ROOTS® CIP Certification (Cobot Integration and Processing)
- UR e-Series Core Track
- UR e-Series Pro Track
- UR e-Series Application Track
- OSHA 10 General Industry
- May also be eligible for college credits toward an AS Degree in Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Technology
Enrollment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Proof of High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Read, Write and Comprehend English
- Applicants may be subject to additional enrollment requirements
