This streamlined approach is ideal for individuals looking to quickly transition into a new field or advance their career in a short timeframe.
Valencia’s Facilities Maintenance Technician program delivers hands-on training in multiple trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repair. Students learn preventative maintenance, customer service, employability skills, and financial literacy—equipping them for technician roles across a wide variety of residential and commercial settings.
* Includes 72 hours of online content within the total contact hours.
Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to earn:
- Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT)
- NCCER Core Construction
- NCCER Site Safety
- EPA 608
- Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO)
- OSHA 10 General Industry
- National Fair Housing for Maintenance Workers
- May be eligible for college credits toward an AS Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering Technology OR an AS Degree in Supervision and Management for Industry
Enrollment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Proof of High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Read, Write, and Comprehend English
- For employment purposes – must pass a background check and drug test
