This streamlined approach is ideal for individuals looking to quickly transition into a new field or advance their career in a short timeframe.
The Electronic Board Assembly Operator program prepares students to solder, assemble, and test electronic circuit boards to the highest industry standards. Training covers IPC-certified soldering, cable and wire harness assembly, and precision measurements using calipers and other tools. Students gain experience in a hands-on lab setting that simulates real-world manufacturing environments.

Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to earn:
- IPC J-STD-001 (Soldering)
- IPC J-STD-001S (Space Addendum)
- IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies)
- IPC FOD Prevention
- OSHA 10 General Industry
- May also be eligible for college credits toward an AS Degree in Supervision & Management for Industry
Enrollment Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age by the time of course completion
- Must read and speak conversational English
- Color blind test and manual dexterity test required
