Course Description

This 16-hour course was developed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to provide criminal justice officers with the skills to de-escalate high tension situations while maintaining a professional attitude through the use of scenarios, case studies and de-escalation exercises.

Cost:	No cost for Region VII Agencies. Agencies outside of Region VII, $150.00 Per Student.
Equipment:	Note-taking materials.
Registration:	Contact your agency training department for registration.
Payment:	Non-Region VII Agencies - coordinate reciprocal payments in advance with the Criminal Justice Training Center in your service area.
Notes:	Note: All agencies within Orange County should be registered 30 days prior to the starting date of class. Registration will open for all agencies outside Orange County 30 days prior to the class start date.
