Course Description

This 80-hour course is designed to prepare an instructor student to obtain Commission certification as a High Liability Instructor in Defensive Tactics and instruct the Criminal Justice Defensive Tactics Course in the Florida Basic Recruit Training Program: High Liability and Advanced Defensive Tactics (#1405). Completing the General Instructor Techniques Course is strongly encouraged before taking this course. Student instructors will be participating in daily physical training (PT) and defensive tactics (DT) training. Students must be in excellent physical condition as this course involves mandatory intense physical training. This course is not Salary Incentive eligible. Mandatory Retraining only..
